DANPHONE - established in 1990 - develops and manufactures advanced radio communications transceivers and complete systems for dedicated networks.
DANPHONE specialises in RF consulting and design services and the supply of voice and data transceivers as well as complete radio communications systems.
The transceivers are available for various voice and data transmission purposes and can be remotely controlled and monitored. In the capacity of base station units, repeater units and even portable units with a battery pack and handset attached DANPHONE transceivers are serving a wide range of purposes on land, at sea and in the air.
Coastal radio systems for VHF and MF/HF form a major part of DANPHONE's business line. Complete turnkey projects can be delivered in compliance with GMDSS specifications, including direct-dialing between ships and public telephone subscribers (automatic DSC). The main customers are coastal radio service providers, VTS system integrators, river and port authorities, offshore industries and defence.
Co-operating with software specialist GateHouse of Denmark, DANPHONE also offers full IALA compliant AIS data communication systems for use with the Automatic vessel Identification Systems, including land based control centres and remote-controlled base stations.
In 2006 Danphone took over the exclusive worldwide rights of manufacturing, sales and service of NAVTEX transmitters and GMDSS / AIS test boxes from Futronic.
