Coastal Radio Solutions
2020 has resulted in several new implementations for both NAVTEX transmitter systems and GMDSS solutions. The situation has given us new experience with virtual video based Factory Acceptance Test and well as Site Acceptance Tests.
New platform developments and features have been added to our COTS solutions and to this date, we keep our position on the top of maritime safety technology with new innovative development, product updates and substantial improvements.
Furthermore, the next version of the GMDSS standard has been in focus for our product Roadmap development.
Danphone have added full ED137 support to the GMDSS solution suite from control centre software to VHF DSC Transceiver (1C/2B/4B/5B)
NAVTEX in Saudi Arabia
SAT conducted in 2020 on first phase of new nationwide NAVTEX system, and final commissioning planned for first quarter 2021

Danphone's GMDSS system is supplied with 4 VHF transceivers and MF/HF transmitter and receivers, with DSC and central control centre for operation and management.
Bahamas GMDSS upgrade III+IV
Danphone's GMDSS system expanded with additional 2 upgrades. Current Danphone GMDSS system based on the flexible and scalable system architecture. VHF MF/HF sites with full DSC and a hot standby servers for redundancy.
Danphone have added full UNICODE support for non-latin character sets in NAVTEX, enabling transmission of messages in local languages.
Futronic GMDSS test equipment
2020 has been another interesting year for the Futronic product range, as the Futronic user community has embraced the online software update capability.
We appreciate all the new input and suggestions from the Futronic User Community, so please keep it coming. The continuous development of the Futronic MKll has never been better and we are proud to be the sole developer, manufacturer and certified supplier of Futronic, the radio surveyor’s preferred test equipment.
NEW functions, features and enhancements suggested by the Futronic user community have been combined with planned Futronic roadmap development.
